Maple Flowers & Forsythia Gold

Maple leaves are just emerging, tinging the hillsides a lime green along with the Sugar Maples long strings of flowers. This year in particular there seems to be more flowers on the deciduous trees than usual.  All of the fruit trees are putting out their solar panels for the year as well, just this morning I noticed the plum trees are flowering. 

In the greenhouses we have spring greens growing happily, and some summer brassicas, such as cauliflower and cabbage.  Out in the field, peas are about two inches tall, but growing steadily. Enjoying the warm wet weather we’ve had of late.
